1. Brief description and main use of raw materials

904L steel belongs to high nickel and molybdenum martensitic stainless acid resistant steel. Due to its high content of chromium, molybdenum and copper, this steel has a very good level of activation-passivation treatment change. The corrosion depth in the passivation treatment area is relatively low (high chromium), and at the same time, it has good resistance to crevice corrosion, ductile fracture (high chromium, molybdenum) and good resistance to intergranular corrosion (high nickel). It has very good corrosion resistance in non-oxidizing acids such as hydrochloric acid, glacial acetic acid, benzoic acid and ammonium sulfate, and very good crevice corrosion resistance in neutralized fluoride-containing aqueous solution.
