1. Brief description and main use of raw materials
304 steel belongs to low-carbon environment-friendly austenitic stainless and acid-resistant steel, which has better corrosion resistance than cold-drawn stamping performance than general stress corrosion resistance. It has strong corrosion resistance to oxidizing acid (such as sodium cyanide), and has certain corrosion resistance to alkali solution and most organic substances and strong oxidants.
This steel is suitable for the production and manufacture of low alloy sheet forming parts, as well as its acid transmission pipeline, acid storage containers, etc.
304H has good corrosion resistance, weldability and thermal strength,
304H is mainly used in large and medium-sized boiler superheater, superheater, compressed air pipeline, heat exchanger of petrochemical equipment and other corrosion-resistant parts.

4. Corrosion resistance
It has high corrosion resistance in cold ammonium sulfate, sodium cyanide and other strong oxidants, many salt and alkali aqueous solutions, organic matter, sea surface, steam, moist air and a series of petroleum products. Poor chemical resistance to hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, chlorine, bromine, iodine, hot ammonium sulfate with concentration value of more than 50~60%, boiled formic acid and hydrochloric acid, industrial chromic acid, molten caustic potassium, potassium carbonate, etc.
Stress corrosion: after 950~1100 ℃ heating, air cooling or water cooling, heat dissipation and aging treatment, it will not cause stress corrosion, but after sensitization processing at 650 ℃ or 730 ℃, it needs to cause stress corrosion, especially after sensitization treatment at 650 ℃.
