Characteristic:

1. Brief description and main use of raw materials

316 steel belongs to martensitic stainless steel hot strength steel. Because it contains 2-3% molybdenum element, the corrosion resistance and crevice corrosion resistance of many strong oxidants, organics, alkalis and acid salts are significantly improved, and it has good creep strength at high temperature.

This steel is suitable for large and medium-sized boiler superheater, superheater, compressed air pipeline, heat exchanger components of petrochemical equipment, anchor bolts for continuous high temperature corrosion resistance, crevice corrosion resistance parts, etc.

Because the steel contains molybdenum, the corrosion resistance of many organic substances, strong oxidants (such as chloric acid, hydrochloric acid, ammonium sulfate, etc.), acid salts and seawater is significantly improved than that of 18-8 channel steel. After sensitization processing at 430~705 ℃, this steel will cause stress corrosion like 18-8 channel steel.
